GCSAA Wraps up 75th Anniversary Celebration
Orlando to host GCSAA conference & show, Feb. 3-10

It will be a time to reflect and look to the future as the 73rd Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) International Golf Course conference and show visits Orlando, Feb. 3-10. The 2002 conference and show http://www.golfcourseshow.com will conclude a yearlong celebration of GCSAA's 75th anniversary, recognizing the Association's and the golf course superintendents' contributions to the game of golf.

At Conference & Show, GCSAA members will have the opportunity to elect three officers and two directors from a field of eight candidates at the association's annual meeting Feb. 8. The following candidates have been approved by the nominating committee: For president: Michael Wallace, CGCS at Hop Meadow Country Club in Simsbury, Conn. For vice president: Jon D. Maddern, CGCS at Elk Ridge Golf Club in Atlanta, Michigan
