MICHIGAN GOLFER TV STARTS RERUNS

Hey, after three straight weeks of programming we are taking a break. The Michigan Golfer TV Show will begins reruns season this week. The show, the first of its kind, anywhere, was able to draw over 20,000 viewers in the eight months that it has been up. Those viewers spent an average of 17 minutes looking around the site and then selecting one of 34 different programs that were a part of the 2001 series. The most watched program, was the GAM Senior Womens' Amateur Tournament at Wild Bluff GC at Bay Mills Resort. 1500 viewers watched the program that week. The show brought a smile to Sara Wold's eyes. Mike Husby and Judy Mason did a great job hosting the event.

The second most watched program was the first of a series on Robert Trent Jones and Treetops, that we originally taped in 1987. Reporters Jack Berry, Terry Moore, pro Rick Smith and the late Mr. Jones and Harry Melling, were part of the magic that evening. We will start our reruns with the first part of that series and hope that those that missed it might tune in this time around for a piece of history.

We will begin our new season in late February or early March of next year. We have a number of shows we are working on and we will also begin a four part series on Michigan's resort pioneer Everett Kircher. Shows we have taped and hope to have up next year are, The Natural, Michaywe GC, Wild Bluff, Tullymore and The Strategic at Fox Hills.

We will also bring our viewers a sneak preview of the new Hawk's Eye in Bellaire, the new Hawk's Ridge in Grayling and another look at the Tribute with our January/February issue of Michigan Golfer Online, coming in late December. http://michigangolfer.tv
